Additionally, what makes The Mackinac House extra special is their innkeepers. David and Rose Witt provide extra special care to all their guests and the duo have become quite the celebrities after recently being featured in a news article published by MLive highlighting their journey working in Michigan’s top tourist destination. To add to the warm family atmosphere, their daughter Katharine will also be assisting at the front desk. While the Witt family are the friendly faces guests get to meet during their stay, The Mackinac House is a partnership between island businessman, Bob Benser and well-known island grocer, Andrew Doud.
